Privacy Policy — Axis Ratio Test

This policy explains, in plain language, what data the Axis Ratio Test stores, what it uses that data for, who it shares it with, how long it keeps it, and how you can exercise your rights. It follows the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (Brazilian General Data Protection Law; Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD) and the Marco Civil da Internet (Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework; Law No. 12,965/2014).
1. Who takes care of your data
The controller (the person responsible for processing the data) is Igor Rafael Oliveira Carneiro, an individual, author of the Axis Ratio method.
Contact for privacy matters: the data protection officer (encarregado, under the LGPD) is Igor Rafael Oliveira Carneiro himself, at contato@olivrodostemperamentos.com.
2. Who may take the test
The test is intended for people 14 years of age or older. When you create your account, you state that you are at least that age. If you are between 14 and 17, we always process your data in your best interest (art. 14 of the LGPD), only for the purposes described here, and we recommend that you read this policy with your parents or legal guardians.
3. What data we store and why

What we do not ask for or store: CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID number), date of birth, postal address, payment information, your password in readable form, and the photo you use on the Stories card (see section 6-A). Your internet address is not recorded in the test's database.
What we do not do: we do not sell your data; we do not use it for third-party advertising; we do not pass your data on to the platforms where the products are sold; we do not use artificial intelligence to calculate or interpret your result. The calculation follows fixed rules, the same for everyone.
4. About the result
The result is a temperament hypothesis produced by automated rules. The test is still in development and has no scientific validation for psychological or clinical assessment. It is not a diagnosis and must not be used for medical, employment, educational, or legal decisions.
Even though it is not health data, the result says something about you. For that reason, it is stored with access restricted to the author and to the people who work with him on the test (see section 7), it is not shared with third parties, and it is not used to make decisions about you outside the test itself. When you finish the test, the name of your temperament is also sent to the email address you registered, with the link to your area; from then on, that message stays in your mailbox, in the care of your email provider.
If you disagree with the result, you can request a review by a human being at contato@olivrodostemperamentos.com, as guaranteed by art. 20 of the LGPD. Answering "doesn't fit me" at the end of the test records your assessment, but does not change the result on its own.
5. Optional permissions
When you create your account, you will find two optional boxes, separate and unchecked. Neither is required to create an account or take the test, and you can withdraw either one at any time, by writing to contato@olivrodostemperamentos.com, with no consequences for you:
- 1. Research: using your answers and your result, without your name, to study and improve the method. In research, your answers are linked to a code, never to your name, email address, or @.
- 2. News: receiving news, content, and invitations from Axis Ratio by email.
6. Offers below the result
Once you have a result, your account may show products by the author, such as books and courses.
- • The offers are the same for everyone. Currently, your result is not used to choose what appears. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and offers chosen based on temperament will be shown only to people 18 or older.
- • Nothing leaves the test: the selection happens on your own account page. The offer link does not carry your name, email address, result, or any other data of yours to the sales platform.
- • If you buy: the purchase takes place on the platform indicated in the offer. The data you provide there (including payment information) stays with the platform, under its privacy policy. The test does not receive or store payment information.
6-A. Stories card
After your result, you can create an image showing your temperament to post to your Instagram Stories, with or without a photo of yourself.
- • The image is created on your own device. The photo you choose is not sent to the test and is not stored by us.
- • Nothing is posted without you. The image only goes to Instagram, or anywhere else, if you yourself decide to share or download it.
- • Once posted, the image is subject to the rules and privacy policy of Instagram or of whatever service you choose, and anyone who sees it will know the result you disclosed.
7. Who we share data with
Only with those who help us keep the test running, and only what is necessary:
- • People who work with the author on the test: the author may authorize collaborators to view the test dashboard, which holds account data, answers, and results. This access is view-only: collaborators do not decide requests, change data, or download spreadsheets. Each collaborator signs in with their own password, acts on the author's behalf and under a duty of confidentiality (processor, art. 39 of the LGPD), and each access is logged with the name of the person who made it.
- Hosting: Hostinger, with servers in Brazil (São Paulo). This is where the test's data is stored. - Email delivery: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), with servers in the European Union, delivers the test's emails (confirmation, password reset, test continuation, congratulations with your result, and replies to retake requests). It receives only your email address and the text of each message. This transfer follows Article 33 of the LGPD: Brevo is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which provides protection equivalent to Brazilian law. - Instagram photos on the result page: the author's latest posts appear there through Behold (behold.pictures). Your browser downloads the images from there, as it does with any image on the internet; Behold receives no data from the test. - Alerts to the author: these arrive by email at the inbox contato@olivrodostemperamentos.com, also maintained by Hostinger, in Brazil: - when you mark a question as confusing (the question, your comment, your name, and your @); - when you request a retake (your name, email address, @, and the reason); - when you use "Write to me" (your name, email address, @, WhatsApp if provided, and the message); - when a new account has an email address or @ similar to that of another (name, email address, @, WhatsApp if provided, and creation date of both accounts). - Sales platforms for the products: they receive nothing from the test. They only process the data you yourself provide to them, if you decide to buy. - Authorities: when required by law.
8. How long we keep data

9. Security
- • The result is calculated on the server. Your browser receives only the current question, with codes that do not reveal the rules of the test.
- • The connection is encrypted (HTTPS).
- • The password and the link and sign-in codes are stored only in encrypted form.
- • The number of sign-up and sign-in attempts is limited, to make it harder for anyone to guess passwords.
- • Only the author and the collaborators he authorizes, each with their own password, have access to the stored data. Collaborators can only view, and each access is logged (see section 7).
- • The hosting provider, like any server on the internet, may keep technical access logs, which include the internet address, for a limited time, for security and operational purposes. The author does not use these logs to identify who took the test.
No system is completely immune to failures. In the event of an incident that may pose a relevant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, Brazil's national data protection authority), as required by law (art. 48 of the LGPD).
10. Your rights
At any time, by writing to contato@olivrodostemperamentos.com, you can:
- • confirm whether we store data about you and access it;
- • correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
- • request anonymization, blocking, or deletion;
- • delete your account;
- • request the portability of your data;
- • find out who we share your data with;
- • withdraw the optional permissions;
- • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- • request a review of the result by a human being.
For your security, write from the email address registered on your account; if that is not possible, we may ask you to confirm that you are the data subject.
Account deletion: we delete the account, the encrypted password, the tests, the result, the retake requests, and the messages, including the copy in the author's email. All that remains is research data already stripped of all identification, if you had given permission, and whatever the law requires us to keep.
We will respond within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).
11. Cookies and browser storage
The test uses a single cookie, and only when you sign in to your account:

This cookie is strictly necessary: without it, there is no way to keep your account signed in. It cannot be read by other websites or by scripts on the page (HttpOnly), it is sent only over a secure connection (Secure), and it is not sent when other websites load the test page (SameSite=Lax). Because it is necessary for the service you requested, it does not require separate permission.
The test does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or cookies from other services, and it does not load anything from outside: even the fonts come from the test's own server.
In addition to the cookie, the test stores a test session code in your browser, so you can close the page and continue later. This code does not identify you outside the test and disappears when you clear your browser data.
Anyone who opens the test from the olivrodostemperamentos.com website also loads the website's fonts, served by Google Fonts; when this happens, the browser connects to Google, which receives the internet address.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, we will let you know in your account or on the test page and, when possible, by email, before the change takes effect.
